How Homeschoolers Measure Up

Early July 2013

July was one whirlwind of a month!  We started with an Edmonds Kind of 4th of July, had a week of Kid Summer Adventure, did some fun kid dates, and finished off with a big trip to Colorado Springs. The 4th this year was nice and sunny.  We went to the parade in Edmonds, and enjoyed sitting with a number of people from our church and watching all the craziness go past.       Afterward, we went to a BBQ at a friends house, and the boys had a blast riding their bikes and doing the slip n slide. We also split up the kids one Saturday to have our individual kid dates.  Phil took Button kayaking on Green Lake (no pics), and Mommy and Buddy when the the Wooden Boat Festival.  I'm starting to notice a theme in our dates.  =) Mommy and Buddy Buddy made a wooden boat On the Zodiac We took a tour of Lake Union, and he even got to steer a boat for a while.
